As a Right To Play ambassador, I work with kids in Rwanda and Canada to make sport a force for real change.
The cause
Why I Show Up
Play teaches the same things track teaches, discipline, resilience, and the belief that effort matters. I know that firsthand. I was a kid who needed sport to give him a direction, and it did.
Through Right To Play, I work with children in Rwanda and Canada, using games and sport to build confidence, leadership, and the kind of grit that carries off the field. The goal is simple. Give kids a reason to believe that what they do matters, and the tools to keep going.
